Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of recess to specific shades, likely based on mordants and dyestuff used. Some localized stiffer regions within the rug in addition to remnants of an old adhesive faintly visible on the reverse side of the carpet. One end measures 5'4" whereas the opposing measures 5'9".
